June – July Newsletter – The Clubhouse Update!

Hello Pilots!

June has been a busy for me, as we just welcomed baby Hunter into the world! My wife gave birth to him on June 1st! But we are here to talk about drones, so let’s get started!

Meetups at Sheffield Park in Oldsmar are back on the calendar! The bald eagle has went back to where ever it came from so we are back! Sheffield is one of our highest attending event and we are happy to be back in the park. There’s room for both racing and GPS drones!

We will be having our 4th of July BBQ at The Clubhouse! Come celebrate with us and bring your drone to fly inside our 3,300 sqft arena! RC trucks and cars are welcome too! We will have food, raffles and prizes to go along with the event. I am also opening up my parking lot to provide a safe place to light off your fireworks! You must check in with me personally to receive a wristband allowing you into the firework display area.

Every 1st Friday of the month starting in July, we will have a club meeting at The Clubhouse! I will discuss our current situation, my goals for the group and what is planned for the future. We will follow every meeting with a free dinner! You must be a Tampa Drones Pro or Platinum member to enjoy however so if you aren’t yet a member, sign up now at https://tampadrones.com/membership-join/ New member dues can be collected during the event!

Are following us on Facebook? If so, you would have seen that we are now a member of the Pasco Chamber of Commerce! This is to further engage with the community and drive our mission of drones clubs in schools, just that much further.

That’s all for now! Fly Safe!
